1. hardness: the scraping is usually made of polyurethane, and the hardness is used to measure the soft hardness of the scraper. The hardness, size and shape of the scraper determine the flexure, flexibility and pressure of the scraping. The hardness range from 55 degrees to 90 degrees (Shaw A). The hardness value was measured by the Shaw A hardness tester. 55A-65A is low hard rubber scraper, 66A-75A is medium hard, and more than 75A is high hard.

The high hardness rubber scraping is very beneficial to the first three functions of rubber scraping. It presses the ink into the screen and transfers the ink from the fine mesh to the substrate, and maintains the wire contact with the plexiglass sheet. The only defect of high hardness rubber scraping is not able to meet the printing of plexiglass with different shapes. When printing rough surface and uneven surface, the quality requirement of rubber scraping is also very high.

2. effective width: it refers to the scraping of an aluminum scraper and the width of the scraping from the aluminum shank. This width is very important, which determines the bending of the rubber under pressure. The bending degree is the cubic value of the effective width. If the two times the effective width is obtained, the degree of bending greater than 23 is obtained.

The bending of the scraping can cause two changes: the change of the angle between the scraping and the screen, and the decrease of the printing pressure on the organic glass. For example, when the scraping is compared to a group of springs, the spring begins to bend when the spring is subjected to a certain angle, and the force of the spring is getting smaller and smaller. The angle of the scraping printing is reduced, the printing pressure is insufficient and the printing effect is not ideal. The printing angle is small, the printing pressure is reduced, the amount of ink is large and the ink layer is thickened. (in this case, the printing operator will increase the pressure of the printing, the bending degree of the scraper increases, and the ink layer is still not ideal. The solution is to increase the hardness and the scraping angle of the rubber. This is the effect of the effective width of the scraper on the four functions of the rubber scraping.

Usually the effective width of the scraper is between 20MM and 30MM. The best effective width based on the selection of organic glass product flatness, screen image resolution and other printing parameters such as: squeegee angle, speed and ink types. In the flat / smooth substrate printed images of high resolution, the effective width is small (less than 20MM), high hardness, suitable for fast printing ink. On uneven, rough glass, effective width is increased (sometimes big 30MM), hardness is reduced, and low hardness rubber scraping adaptability is poor, and it can not be overbent. It can also use three hard or two side scrapes with two hard sides. In general, the effective width increases, the printing speed is reduced and the printing angle is increased.
